Biography

Zazie Productions is a multihyphenate artist whose work blends experimental sound worlds, genre-bending composition, and inventive cross-media projects. He is an underground figure across electronic music, film scoring, avant-garde sound design, conceptual writing, and digital aesthetics.

His work sits somewhere between outsider art and calculated genius: meticulous, unorthodox, and strangely melodic.

Known for walking the fault line between high art and post-ironic hijinks, Zazie channels the defiant intelligence of a Gen-Z Frank Zappa—fearless, protean, and allergic to repetition. His catalog feels like an ongoing experiment in emotional volatility: manic precision, technical virtuosity, and melodic control all sharing the same breath.

That streak began early. At just 14, Black Mountain College commissioned him to reimagine Erik Satie’s Gymnopédie No. 1 through musique concrète. The result, Cheaper Impressions—a musique concrète homage to John Cage—became the unlikely centerpiece of his 2020 EP Stutter to Stammer.

Since then, Zazie has released ten albums, twenty-five short stories, and a sprawling body of visual and film work. His viral persona @WellMeaningNeurotypicals skewers mental-health discourse. He’s scored psychological horror films, directed underground cult pieces like Phantom Requiem, and appeared on over 50 Various Artist compilations.
