Biography

Yan (rhymes with “gingerbread man”) is a New York based composer/lyricist, music director, writer, and teacher who has worked in all sorts of environments and projects. Very comfortable with new works and old, he loves to build something exciting in a room together with other people, all of them making it up as they go. Yan loves challenges and wrapping his mind/hands around a new score. He can be funny sometimes, given adequate preparation.
