Based in the vibrant cultural hub of New York City, Ramanan is a multifaceted artist and sound designer with a deep passion for music, creativity, and education. A former Senior Lead Sound Designer at Aristocrat Technologies, Ramana brings an unmatched expertise in crafting immersive audio experiences, from intricate game soundscapes to evocative compositions for films, commercials, and documentaries.

As a skilled musician, Ramanan wields the Hansaveena, guitar, and other instruments to create soul-stirring music across genres like Indian Classical, Fusion, and Rock. From live looping instrumentals to sophisticated electronic tracks, He seamlessly blends tradition and innovation, making every performance a journey of emotion and storytelling.

Driven by a commitment to cultural preservation and artistic growth, Ramanan along with Radhika Samson, has founded an Indian Classical Music and Odissi Dance academy in New Delhi in 2013 and NYC in 2024. This initiative serves as a bridge between heritage and modernity, inviting students to explore the depth of Indian art forms while embracing global creativity.

Beyond music, Ramanan is a multiple award winning music video creator & adept visual artist, offering services like photography, videography, and graphic design to empower fellow artists.
