Tony Lee Daise
Biography
Tony Daise enjoys a busy performance schedule, appearing regularly as a soloist, chamber, and orchestral musician in and around the New York Tri – State and New England areas. Mr. Daise can be heard in pits and on stages alike, having had the pleasure of playing in venues from Leith Griffin Recital Hall to Freelander Theatre. Recently, Tony wrapped up his first season with the Ohio Light Opera, where he served as both Concertmaster and a Section Violinist throughout the 50 – season show, playing comedic favorites from Me and My Girl to classics like The Sound of Music. In addition to his work with the Ohio Light Opera, Tony is a Violin Fellow with the Connecticut Symphony Orchestra and a Section Violinist with the North Worcester County Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Daise is entering his final year of undergraduate study, pursuing a B.M. in Violin Performance under the guidance of Dr. Solomiya Ivakhiv, and is a former student of Dr. Renate Falkner through the Peabody Conservatory’s Pre-College Program.
