Tomoko Akaboshi
Biography
Born in Tokyo, Tomoko started her career as a musician at age twenty, and has since performed and interpreted for internationally renowned artists such as Alan Silvestri, Alicia Keys, Coldplay, Andrea Bocelli, Kurt Elling and more. Her performing experience includes studio recordings and TV soundtracks as well as acting as Concert Master or solo violinist for Broadway musicals, Carnegie Hall and to the White House in classical, jazz and fiddle styles.
Tomoko has coordinated ensembles and orchestras and has supervised productions in the United States, Japan, Germany, Australia, Hungary, Bulgaria and the Czech Republic. These productions encompass a variety of musical styles, including classical, film, theater, jazz and video game music.
