Biography

Selina Liu is a second-year student at Northwestern University pursuing a BA in theatre and music composition and a minor in music education. She is a pianist proficient in classical and contemporary styles, such as jazz and pop/rock. She has directed, conducted, and arranged for vocal groups, chamber ensembles, and small jazz ensembles. She works as a pit musician and accompanist at the university and has a private vocal studio for beginning actors. Most recently, she was the music director at Citadel Theatre’s education programs for the production of Matilda Jr. and the Broadway 2000s Intensive. She is a writer, composer, and orchestrator for The 93rd Annual Waa-Mu Show. She is also working on the book, lyrics, music, and score of her original musical.
