Samantha Kao

Biography

Samantha Kao is a versatile pianist, singer, and educator based in Los Angeles.  She graduated summa cum laude from University of Michigan School of Music in 2020, earning a bachelors in musical arts with a concentration in piano performance.  Since then, she has worked as a freelance accompanist, vocalist, and private lesson instructor, and is particularly interested in the combination of different music genres such as EDM, jazz, classical, and funk.  Besides music, Samantha is a paralegal at an immigration agency, and has experience working in nonprofit and substitute teaching. Her other interests include programming, music production, dancing, and foreign languages.
