Philip Varricchio

Biography

A Las Vegas Native, Phil started his music journey as a flute player at an arts high school. His schooling brought him to the east coast where he attended Boston University, NYU, and New Jersey City University. After school he toured with FUN HOME, FALSETTOS, and most recently 1776. In 2019 and 2022, he won the oboe doubling chair with the orchestra for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular Featuring the Rockettes. He’s been fortunate to have subbed on A STRANGE LOOP and ALADDIN making his Broadway debut in 2022. Other hobbies include sewing historical garments, weightlifting, and Japanese language.
