Peter Ragai
Biography
Peter Hanna has been dancing since he was 9 years old, and started formal training in singing and acting at MSA University for the Arts at age 17. Before turning 25, he had played Genie (Aladdin), Usnavi (In The Heights), Aron bur (Hamilton), Felix (Encanto), PT. Barnum (The Greatest Showman), and Ryan Evans (High School Musical). He recently performed in a physical art project entitled “My Land My Memory”.
Currently, Peter is pursuing his Bachelor’s degree at the Sharjah Performing Arts Academy, where he is amongst the select few to have been awarded a scholarship by the office of HH Sheikh Qasimi. Peter has also participated in several acting workshops led by industry insiders, including Yehia Elfakharany and Mohamed Adel, and he has taken dance classes with Marwan Makar.
Peter is also an accomplished artist, and has shown his work at Lamasat Art Gallery as a painter (abstract, portrait, cubism, surrealism). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art and Design as a graphic designer and an animator. Whenever he can, Peter likes to swim and plays table tennis too.
