November Christine
Biography
November Christine(she/her/hers) holds a degree in Cellular Biology and Molecular Genetics from the University of Maryland, as well as a BM in Musical Theatre from the East Carolina University School of Music.
A New York based playwright and composer, November is a BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop Lyricist and Billie Burke Ziegfeld Award Winner. Her women-centered songwriting earned her a place among The Broadway Women’s Fund 2022 list of “Women to Watch.” November’s musical LEGACY premiered in London, and is a New York Musical Festival “Best of Fest” winner. Recent commissions include her epistolary play IDA, about the anti-lynching activist Ida B. Wells, and A WOMEN’S SUFFRAGE SPLENDIFEROUS EXTRAVAGANZA, written in collaboration with The Pleiades Project. November is also an emerging director/producer, having been selected for the 2022 cohort of Beth Morrison Projects’ Producer Academy. A proud artist-activist, November is Co-chair of the NYCLU Artist Ambassador Program and Administrative Manager of Musicians United for Social Equity.
