Biography

Maria Victoria is the first harpist and female cuatro player from Venezuela in history studying at Berklee College of Music thanks to a Full Tuition-merit scholarship. She is studying the 5th semester of. the Bachelor’s Degree in Music/ Contemporary Writing with three minors: Musical Theater Writing, Global Studies, and Theory of Jazz and Popular Song.

Orchestra musician and teacher at the Alma Llanera Orchestra from Venezuela, El Sistema.

Studied voice performance and Latin American traditional music with Maestra Fabiola Jose at the University of the Arts of Venezuela, and Classical Voice/Opera with Maestro Idwer Alvarez at the Simón Bolívar Music Conservatory in Caracas for 3 years.

Founder of the Music as a Service Channel Project, enriching the lives of children in her community, of San Juan de los Morros, with music lessons and traditional Latin American music education.

Youth Ambassador of Venezuela in the United States and Ambassador of Good Will from Arkansas State since 2017.
