Biography

From composing show tunes to crafting theatrical soundscapes, I strive to turn everyday noises into resonating symphonies. I am a graduate of University of North Texas, with a BA in Theatre and minor in English. My goal is to write full length musicals; book, lyrics, and music. I am experienced working with an array of performers and creative engineers, as well as independently.

I like to create art that shares my unique perspective as a queer black woman since I have not seen enough musicals with ample representation. I want to change the idea of sharing black stories from putting our hardest struggles under a microscope to showing radiant black joy through clever, light-hearted comedy.
