Biography

Kevin Du was born in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up in Shanghai, China. He is a 21-year-old pianist/keyboardist and composer, currently studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Growing up with a Classical and jazz background, he enjoys immersing himself in a variety of styles of music, from pop to metal, from R&B to musical theater, from swing to Classical. He is an avid performer in a wide range of settings including solo piano, accompanying singers, jazz groups, pit orchestra, metal bands, party bands, tribute acts, big show productions, and others. He also frequently composes his own music, and most of all, he is a curious and versatile musician who’s always searching for new things that challenge him and make him grow and improve. Outside of music, he is a film buff, I collect vinyls, and I love cooking Chinese food!
