Biography
Kayden Behan is a music director, orchestrator, and arranger currently based in NYC. Kayden holds a B.M. in Jazz Composition with a minor in Musical Theater Conducting from Berklee College of Music. He has experience in dance arranging, music direction, and baton conducting as well as music transcription. He also has previously studied Big Band arranging, string writing, and musical theater composition.
In addition to the Musical Theater idiom, he also has an enriched musicality in various genres including his heritage of Balkan/Middle Eastern music. He is well versed in a variety of non-western folk instruments, tonal systems, and rhythms.
