Jonah Nung is a keyboardist residing in Toronto, Canada. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Music Education (piano) with a minor in Composition at the University of Toronto. He has been a pit musician and rehearsal pianist on productions including The 25th Annual… Spelling Bee (Victoria College Drama Society), Sweeney Todd in Concert (Ember Island Players Theatre), The Theory of Relativity (St. Michael’s College Troubadours), and Bare: A Pop Opera (Trinity College Dramatic Society).
Jonah loves working as a theatre musician and collaborative pianist, having frequently accompanied both instrumentalists and vocalists throughout his studies. While classically trained, he has also played in pop, rock, and other contemporary genres. Outside of theatre, he has experience in arranging and recently composed music for the animated short film Long-Distance. He aspires to work in the fields of music direction and orchestration.
