Joe Solomon Badion
Joe is a recent graduate of Northwestern University’s Bienen School of Music, where he earned a Bachelors of Music in Music Education and studied Portuguese in the Weinberg School of Arts and Sciences. He is currently the Music/Choir teacher at Hawthorne Scholastic Academy in Chicago Public Schools.
During his time at Northwestern University, Joe worked on numerous student and department musical theatre productions and Co-Music Directed the 77th Annual Dolphin Show: Hello, Dolly! In addition to singing with the Bienen Contemporary/Early Vocal Ensemble, University Singers, and University Chorale, Joe sang Tenor II and served as Music Director for Freshman Fifteen A Cappella and helped to produce the group’s 2018 album ILU. A versatile arranger, orchestrator, and multi-instrumentalist, he is comfortable writing for vocal and instrumental ensembles of any size.
Originally from Westport, Connecticut, Joe is a graduate of Staples High School. He is an avid home cook, cyclist, animal lover, podcast listener, and Dungeons & Dragons enthusiast!
