Biography

Joe is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Bienen School of Music, where he earned a Bachelors of Music in Music Education and studied Portuguese in the Weinberg School of Arts and Sciences. He was most recently the Keys 2/Associate Conductor for the international tour of The Sound of Music in Singapore and Malaysia.

During his time at Northwestern University, Joe worked on numerous student and department musical theatre productions and Co-Music Directed the 77th Annual Dolphin Show: Hello, Dolly! In addition to singing with the Bienen Contemporary/Early Vocal Ensemble, University Singers, and University Chorale, Joe sang Tenor II and served as Music Director for Freshman Fifteen A Cappella and helped to produce the group’s 2018 album ILU. ​A versatile arranger, orchestrator, and multi-instrumentalist, he is comfortable writing for vocal and instrumental ensembles of any size. 

Originally from Westport, Connecticut, Joe is a graduate of Staples High School. He is an avid home cook, cyclist, animal lover, football fan, and Dungeons & Dragons enthusiast!
