Biography

Born in California, but born for New York, Janice is a Harlem based wordsmith. Once upon a time, for a short time, she was semi-famous in the ABC Scandal fandom corner of the internet for her musical three minute recaps of episodes; and although that glory has long since faded, those recaps are still a pretty accurate indication of what she brings to the table: witty, musical and pleasantly irreverent commentary on whatever it is she’s looking at and/or thinking about.

Current projects include:
SCANDUSICAL, a musical adaptation of the TV show SCANDAL
THE QUARANTRILOGY, a three-piece of ten minute musicals set in quarantine;
GOD HAS NOT GIVEN and BAD WORDS, exvangelical podcasts;
HOW IT ENDS (working title); an afro futuristic series about the end of the United States
JAGGED/LEMONADE: cover/mashups of songs from Jagged Little Pill and Lemonade
VARIOUS OTHER SINGER-SONGWRITER ENDEAVORS
