Biography

Jade is a New York native and enjoys a diverse freelance career in violin. She is a founding member of the Kompass Quartet, who recently finished their residency with the Craftsbury Chamber Players. Jade was the pit violinist for the Hunter Theater Department’s original musical, Could Have Been by Rita Posillico in 2018, and the Hunter Intonation Club’s productions of The Last 5 Years by Jason Robert Brown in 2019 and EDGES by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul in 2020. She has performed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Theatre Row for the Circle in the Square’s production of Spring Awakening, the Frederick Loewe Theater at NYU, the 2018 NYSummerfest Theater Festival for the second production of Could Have Been, the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, and Symphony Space, just to name a few. Jade recently graduated from New York University with her Master of Music, under the mentorship of Cyrus Beroukhim and Giora Schmidt. She received her Bachelor of Music from Hunter College under the tutelage of David Fulmer and Reuben Blundell, and was concertmaster of the Hunter Symphony.
