Harrison Lee
Biography
Harrison Lee is a composer, playwright, and lyricist currently pursuing his MFA in the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program at NYU Tisch. His original musical Welcome to the Psyche—an exploration of the internal psyche—has undergone three table reads and five public presentations, including the New York Theater Festival, Spark Festival, and two workshops with Create Theater. The playbills always include QR code with links to podcasts + resources to learn more about these proven psychological models.
A passionate advocate for process-driven development, Harrison integrates emerging AI tools into his creative workflow, using them for musical architecture, script edits, demo production, and business planning. He leads workshops on AI integration for musical theater writers at NYU and beyond, helping others accelerate their own creative processes.
With experience writing/producing new work (at Calling All Magical People Festival) and collaborating across disciplines, Harrison brings a clear artistic vision, a flexible workshop mindset, and a deep investment in new musical theater that resonates beyond the page.
