Biography
Ethan Hemmings is a versatile musician based in Brooklyn, NY, excelling as a violinist, audio engineer, string arranger, and music producer. With over a decade of experience, his journey began in public school and has led to collaborations with esteemed orchestras like the Arlington Philharmonic, Symphony of Westchester, and The Doctor’s Orchestra Society of New York
He has honed his violin skills under mentors Claire Allen and Dr. Akemi Takayama. He developed his audio engineering knowledge through the MPRT program at Shenandoah University and an internship at Cue Recording Studios. His musical education includes participation in the Eastern Music Festival, tours to Argentina and Japan, Tribute concert to Alan Menken with the NYU Broadway Orchestra, and masterclasses with Kevin Zhu, Stella Chen, and Dr. Cora Cooper.
Ethan graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music in Music Production and Recording Technology from Shenandoah University. He also graduated with a Master of Music in String Studies – Violin at New York University, where he also served as a graduate adjunct faculty member.
