Enaw Elonge
Biography
Enaw Elonge holds a MM. and BM. in Music Education in voice and viola from Ithaca College (’18) and Mansfield University of PA (’16) respectively. While studying at MU she was both a violist and violinist in the Symphony Orchestra and a soprano in the Chamber Choir, Concert Choir, and Festival Chorus. She traveled to Europe in 2014 with the Concert Choir to compete in the World Choir Games in Riga, Latvia. The choir brought home several gold medals. During her time at IC Enaw sang with the Ithaca College Choir, who performed at Alice Tully Hall in NYC, and played with the Symphony Orchestra. She was also fortunate enough to premiere several new works from up and coming young composers. Currently, Enaw serves as the Music & Arts Department Chair (2022-present), Music and Drama Teacher at Dundee Elementary School (2018-present). She has been teaching privately for 10+ years and is very active in the Finger Lakes Theatre Community as an actor, director, music director, and pit musician. Enaw enjoys sharing her love of music and theatre with her community.
