Daniel Juna Sidharta Leibovic
Biography
Daniel Leibovic is a composer, pianist, and singer. His current works explore voices, lyrics, chamber pop, and non-western musical materials. He is particularly drawn toward Indonesian and Jewish musics of his heritage. In 2022, he received the ASCAP Foundation’s Morton Gould Young Composer Award. From 2021 to 2023 he was a Young Artist Fellow with DACAMERA. He received a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Yale University in 2017, worked as a product manager at Microsoft and Palantir Technologies from 2016 to 2018, and received a Master of Music degree in Composition at Rice University in 2023.
