Biography

Caleb Middleton is a Music Director, Conductor, and Pianist from McDonough, GA. He is a recent graduate of the University of Michigan, where he earned a Bachelor of Musical Arts (BMA) with a focus on Music Direction, along with minors in Musical Theatre Composition and Performing Arts Management & Entrepreneurship. His passion for music direction began after seeing his first Broadway show, Les Misérables (2015). Since then, he has pursued a professional career in music direction for musical theatre.

Caleb is currently the Associate Music Director on the second national tour of TINA: The Tina Turner Musical, under the music supervision of Alvin Hough Jr. He has collaborated with esteemed theatre organizations such as The MUNY (2022-2024 intern), The Broadway Dreams Foundation, and The Asian Opera Alliance (2024).

Select pianist credits include Wicked (Detroit Opera House), Dreamgirls (The MUNY), The Color Purple (The MUNY), and Sister Act (The MUNY). Select music direction credits include A Chorus Line (University of Michigan), Choir Boy (University of Michigan), and Falsettos (University of Michigan).
