Biography
Brittaney (N.) / Brɪ•tuh•nee Delsarté Chatman is a Southern debutante navigating the New York arts scene. A millennial Renaissance woman, she’s trained in voice, dance, and acting from a young age, studying under renowned coaches like David Lee Brewer and institutions like the Actors Studio Drama School, M.F.A. As the granddaughter of world-renowned visual artist, Larry Lebby, and cousin to Toni Braxton and the Braxton sisters (Trina, Traci, Towanda Braxton), Brittaney comes from a lineage of talent. Having released her debut EP ‘Call Me Blossom’, Brittaney Delsarté Chatman is on a pursuit to take power out of mainstream’s hands to place herself in windows of opportunities that’ll take her music career to the next level.
Brittaney has performed in off-Broadway plays and award-winning films. Currently, she’s an acting finalist at The Actors Studio’s PDW and a member of Here and Ready. She combines her art with civic engagement, advocating for racial justice and creating inclusive artistic spaces. She’s also contributed to CNN and HLN, and has produced marketing campaigns for major brands like BMW, MINI, and Rocket Mortgage.
