Biography

Bobbie Lee Crow III is a New York-based arranger, composer, and orchestrator. A trained cellist and conductor, he graduated from The Ohio State University with additional education at Otterbein University. Bobbie has worked with singer-songwriter Blake Pfeil, ABC’s X-Factor finalist Khaya, indie artist Victory Boyd, cellist & singer Kelsey Lu, Japanese rapper Lotus Juice, Academy Award-winning director Tom Hooper, Tony Award-winning actor Patina Miller, multiple award-winning composer Howard Shore (The Lord of the Rings), and Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow. As a composer, he has written for the web series How To Make It Big and the musical The Tale of Murasaki and has been featured on the episodic series Elementary and Mozart in the Jungle. Bobbie currently acts as Artistic Director of iconiQ The Soundtrack Orchestra and music apprentice for the 2022 Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Company starring Katrina Lenk and Patti Lupone.
