Biography

Philly-born Muzikaldunk (MD) is a dynamic drummer, music producer, A/V tech, and educator with over 20 years of experience. A founding member of the alternative jazz/rock band MOBBLUZ and a proud member of punk rock band JJX, she’s toured internationally with soul  legends like Ingrid Arthur and performed in groundbreaking theater productions alongside the incomparable Whitney White in Macbeth in Stride. As an honorary member of legendary black punk rockers Pure Hell, MD loves that she represents women drummers in punk rock spaces. Beyond the stage, she mentors youth, advocates for diversity, and runs a creative hub in Southwest Philly. MD’s artistry blends innovation, passion, and purpose, inspiring the next generation.
