Ansy Francois
Biography
Ansy Francois is a woodwind specialist based in the New York area. He has studied saxophone, oboe, clarinet, and flute. His specialized studies include a bachelor’s degree with a focus in jazz, and a master’s degree in multiple woodwinds. He has performed with national tours, an international concert series, jazz clubs, and stadiums across the country. He is currently active in the New York area with various groups ranging from symphony orchestras, jazz ensembles, and several Broadway productions. Through his experiences, he has performed with great artists such as Phil Woods, Catherine Russell, Alan Gilbert, etc, on Grammy-nominated recordings, and in venues including Lincoln Center, the Kimmel Center, Carnegie Hall, Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola, Small’s Jazz Club, and more.
