Andy Chen
Biography
Andy Chen (he/him) is an NYC-based music director, conductor, and pianist currently serving as Associate Conductor on the National Tour of Chicago. Recent credits include Trial by Jury (College Light Opera Company) and Little Women (Arizona State University). Andy holds a B.M. in Vocal Music Education from the Eastman School of Music and an M.M. in Music Direction from Arizona State University.
When he is not playing keys or waving a stick, Andy is a passionate music educator and poet. He prioritizes fostering welcoming and inclusive creative spaces around the belief that happy artists make better art.
