Amy Hsu
Biography
Hailing from the sunny shores of Auckland, New Zealand, Amy has worked luxury cruise lines and performed with over 70 entertainment acts from across the globe. Some of Amy’s professional theatre credits include the NZ tour of Jersey Boys(2021), and Mary Poppins (2020) at the Auckland Civic Theatre. Prior to studying at the Royal Academy of Music, Amy was a part of the trans-Tasman symphonic electronic dance phenomena, Synthony, she was a two-time recipient of the Anna Nathan Prize in Early Keyboard Performance both in 2016 and 2017 and performed Rhapsody in Blue with the Auckland Symphony Orchestra in 2017.
Her recording credits include Enliven (2021), a progressive rock album by Brazilian guitarist Tony Cantisano.
Recently, Amy was AMD/Cover Conductor on the RSC’s world premier stage production of My Neighbour Totoro at the Barbican.
Amy is passionate about empowering marginalised voices through her work.
