Biography

Amanda Cattel is an NYC-based pianist and keyboardist, who performs jazz, rock, pop, musical theatre and classical music. A Florida native and Chinese-American, Amanda enjoys playing in different genres at a wide variety of venues. From The National Comedy Hall of Fame’s Belly Laugh Comedy Club to The Museum of Modern Art, Amanda is comfortable improvising and providing live accompaniment to performances. A graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, she continues to play with bands and at other special events. Utilizing her academic background in cinema, Amanda provides live improvised music to silent film screenings all around the city.
