Amanda Dee (she/her) is a pianist, violinist, and music director based in the Bay Area. She primarily works on youth programming through Berkeley Playhouse (Little Mermaid, Seussical, Rent, Cinderella) and has played for several other local companies (UC Berkeley BareStage, Ray of Light Theatre, Pinole Players, Pittsburgh Theater Company). Prior to arriving in California, she performed in and played for 18 productions during her undergraduate term at Northeastern University, where she directed/music directed one of the first collegiate productions of Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812. When not performing or rehearsing, she is a second year plant biology PhD candidate at the University of California, Berkeley.
