Aitana Poey is a composer, producer, clarinetist, and vocalist from Havana, Cuba. Aitana was the first Cuban to win the Talent Scholarship awarded by the Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation to study Jazz Composition, Screen Scoring, and Voice at Berklee College of Music. At this institution, she has been tutoring orchestral music, music industry, music production, music composition, and other related courses since February 2022. Aitana is also a Laboratory Monitor at Berklee College of Music, where she has been responsible for managing music production and software applications since February 2022.
In addition to these roles, Aitana has experience as a Music Teacher at Gamamusic, teaching singing, choral music, and education for two and a half years. Aitana has also taught music as a Music Teacher at Universidad Galileo, where she taught choral music, audio engineering, piano, and other related courses. Previously Aitana was the first Eb clarinet at the National Concert Band of Cuba.
Overall, Aitana has demonstrated skills in music composition, production, artist management, public relations, coaching, communication, and software applications such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Cubase, Finale, Sibelius, and Dorico. She is an accomplished musician with experience in music education, performance, and recording.
