Biography
Abigail Galleta Canafe is a Filipino-American music director, keyboardist, keyboard programmer, accordionist, and arranger based in the Greater New York Area. Abigail is a proud member of Musicians United for Social Equity and Maestra Music.
She has worked on over 20 theatrical productions, and frequently works with regional theaters, professional training companies, and arts enrichment programs, such as Broadway Dreams Foundation, Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts Training Center, Youth Musical Theater Company, One Stage Theater, and New Conservatory Theater Center.
Abigail received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in music and cognitive science from the University of California, Berkeley, where she studied piano, harpsichord, and chamber organ performance. She is a recipient of the Roselyn Schneider Eisner Prize in Music as well as the Joan C. Reutinger Prize in recognition for piano performance.
