Taekkeun Sim
Composer | Pianist | Musical Director

Taekkeun Sim is a composer and pianist from Yongin, South Korea. He began his musical journey by studying Jazz Piano at Hoseo University, where he honed his skills as a session musician, performing and recording keyboards for various artists in South Korea.

Taekkeun moved to the United Kingdom to further his expertise and pursued studies in Musical Directing at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2021. He then continued his studies at Leeds Conservatoire, focusing on Musical Theatre Creatives as a composer. His musical styles encompass classical compositions, jazz, and contemporary musical theatre scores, reflecting his passion for storytelling through music.

Currently, Taekkeun is working on publishing his compositions, writing a new novel, and creating a musical titled “Will You Smile for Me-ow?”
