Biography

NICO RAIMONT is a Latin musical-comedy writer, rapper, performer & director from South Florida. Nico just graduated from NYU’s Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program.

Current Works: The Busy Bees’ Great Adventure (Music; World Premiere, Adrienne Arsht Center, Fall 2023), Romeo y Julieta; Limeño (Music & Co-Lyrics) and Como Correr: A Hip-Pop Musical (Book, Music, Lyrics). He’s currently developing Chasing Paper Skies, a musical miniseries, with Christian Jimenez.

As a Pit Musician, Nico has played on Romeo y Julieta; Limeño (Table Read, One Man Band: Piano, A. Guitar, Percussion), The Story of A Daughter (Stage-Reading, Percussion), Romeo y Julieta; Limeño (Stage Reading, Percussion)
