Biography
Andy Chen (he/him) is a music director, conductor, and pianist currently serving as Music Director and Conductor on the National Tour of Chicago. Recent credits include productions of La Cage Aux Folles and Iolanthe (College Light Opera Company). Andy holds a B.M. in Vocal Music Education from the Eastman School of Music and an M.M. in Music Direction from Arizona State University.
When he is not playing keys or waving a stick, Andy is a passionate music educator and poet. He prioritizes fostering welcoming and inclusive creative spaces around the belief that happy artists make better art.
