Biography

Yen-Nien Hsu is a composer, singer-songwriter, arranger, guitarist, and mixing engineer in the musical theater field. She also has outstanding achievements in recording, producing, and singing. She graduated from BerkleeNYC Writing and Design for Musical Theater in 2023 and was awarded the Outstanding Scholar.

She’s writing music for the new musical “Vincent” with Gabrielle Ammirato and did the first showcase at the end of June in 2023 and performed a few songs in the cutting room and Greenroom. And another TYA musical “The Piper’s Return”. As a guitarist, she played in the Greenroom, Berklee school concerts, and musical productions.

Other experiences in musical production: The Night with a Ghost – Composer, Guitarist, and Music director; Xanadu – Guitarist; West Side Story – Maria, Vocal trainer; ANATAHAN – Music director assistant.

She produced various genres of pop songs, including pop-rock, ACG, and ballads, and released her original music on StreetVoice in 2020 and did some live shows in various performance spaces.

Yen-Nien is a careful, communicative, willing-to-learn, and responsible person. She’d love to write and collaborate with all kinds of music.
