Michael Ramirez
Biography
Michael Ramirez is a music director, composer, lyricist, and trumpeter based in New York City. He grew up in South Texas and graduated with a Bachelor of Music Composition from University of North Texas.
He has served as music director in over a dozen productions. He has written the music, book and lyrics to Loving, as well as the music for Anne of Green Gables. He also conducted both premiere productions.
He is also an arranger for the cabaret and nightlife space. His arrangements have been played at Joe’s Pub and Green Room 42. He has worked with drag entertainers Lagoona Bloo, Kiki Ball-Change and Castrata.
