Sebastian Son
Biography
Sebastian Son is a singer-songwriter, librettist, and composer from Fort Lee New Jersey. A recent graduate of Amherst College, he is active in the NYC and LA areas. In 2022 he was awarded a grant from the Amherst Cultural Council and the state of Massachusetts to produce a concert performance of his original musical, “Reasons to Leave”, a 4-person rock musical about people leaving the Earth behind forever. An actor, pianist, guitarist, and singer, Sebastian writes music in a variety of genres, and has performed in shows like “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf”, “Urinetown”, and “Faustus”, and studied under Ron Bashford and Carine Montbertrand. Sebastian also has released a debut album (“A Summer in Quarantine”) of acoustic folk songs, which can be found on all streaming platforms.
