Biography

Spencer J. Vigil is a Transgender writer and composer. He has been working within the industry for over fifteen years in multiple facets. His writing has taken off over the last few years since graduating from undergrad and is now moving onto pursue his MA at Berklee NYC in the fall of 2022. He is currently working on his musical Loud And With Feeling where he is writing the Book, Music, & Lyrics. They hope to bring a new life to contemporary musical theater by bringing humanity and dignity to Transgender actors and crew like never before. He strives to uplift his community that has given so much to them and feels a moral obligation to make work that highlights the many complexities and intersectionality’s with warmth and vigor.
