Biography

Dean Balan is a music director, conductor, and pianist, currently serving as Associate Music Director/Conductor for Disney’s The Lion King (Rafiki Tour). Previous credits include Music Director for the 1st National Tour of The Prom and Associate MD for the 2nd National Tour of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. At home in Las Vegas, he is the Associate Music Director for Vegas City Opera. Dean holds a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology (UNLV) and a master’s degree in orchestral conducting (CCM). 🇵🇭🇺🇸
