Helen is a collaborative theatre artist with a passion for creating content that seeks to provoke.
New Jersey native, Helen J Shen, is an actor, singer, writer, and pianist based in Michigan. She is currently pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre at the University of Michigan, with minors in Musical Theatre Composition and American Culture.
At the University of Michigan, Helen has performed in shows under the direction of Michael McElroy. She has served as the music assistant for university productions, and music director to Pioneer Theatre Guild productions. Helen also has multiple private voice students in her studio and has worked as a teaching assistant at Paper Mill Playhouse.
