Brandon Acosta
Biography
Brandon Acosta was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania, a small town north of Pittsburgh. He recently graduated from Northwestern University with a B.S. in Communications, majoring in Theatre and English Literature with a certificate in Musical Theatre and the Creating the Musical Module. At Northwestern, Brandon worked as a Writing Coordinator, Composer, Orchestrator, and Arranger for The Waa-Mu Show, the nation’s largest student-written musical. He also worked as the Artistic Director and Special Events Director of Lovers & Madmen, a theatre company that produces classic and classically inspired works. Brandon is also the composer of Home for the Summer, an original musical that had its first reading in March 2022 through the American Music Theatre Project. Brandon is primarily a musical theatre actor, composer, and lyricist as well as studying orchestrator and dance arranger.
