Biography

Hi friends!! My name is Maddie Wu (she/her/hers), and I’m a third-generation Asian-American woman from a small suburb outside of Detroit, Michigan. I am a senior at Princeton University majoring in East Asian Studies with a minor in music theater. I have been heavily involved in the Princeton theater community primarily as a music director, pianist, and producer, but I also have experience with arranging, orchestrating, and arts admin. Fostering a welcoming, inviting, and inclusive environment for all is something that I strive for in every collaboration that I participate in at Princeton and beyond. Aside from the arts, I’m also a huge sports fan and love playing soccer.
I’m also interning with Maestra during summer 2020, and I am so excited to learn from and grow with this wonderful organization.
